Write for Us Accept Guest Post for Parenting, Mom, Motherhood & Kids

Cosmopolitan – yes the online version of the magazine – is wanting to pay you for your story. We gracefully point mommas to a deeper love of Jesus through real-life biblical examples and practical, biblical theology that permeates our online content. In addition to running on MotherhoodLater.com, the blog for us also runs on social media. Once published on our site, you would be sent a link, and we invite you to post it on Facebook, etc.

Everyday Mamas reserves the right to make final decisions regarding editing, title of article, and photo selection, and also has the right to decide which articles to publish. If you send us any photos, you are granting us permission to use them on our website and on related social media accounts. By submitting any articles to us, you are verifying that Everyday Mamas has the right to publish this work. While you may not lose a book for every child, with more children your book may come out a little later.

We read each email and regularly answer inside one business day.

Articles should encourage readers to comment, discuss, and share their opinions. We love diverse perspectives and drawing from personal experience; however, we also want the material to be relatable to moms of many backgrounds and to unify us in this important role we have in common. We will publish your articles on other social media channels, but it does not guarantee to increase traffic on your blog’s social media handle. You can submit the same articles to more than one site for sure, but I wouldn’t actually publish the same article on more than one site.

Raising Arizona Kids will pay Arizona moms to write content that will “foster networking and support among Arizona parents and professionals supportive of quality parenting”. Featured article submissions should be 1,000 – 3,000 words. Pregnant Chicken is an online resource and blog that offers tips, advice, and information that help in keeping pregnancy fun and funny for expectant and new parents. They want funny or emotionally relatable posts on pregnancy and being a new parent.

If you write for us Motherhood every day on Mom News Daily, you broaden your network and get more exposure for your work. Minnesota Parent will pay local moms to write about trending topics with relevant info for Minnesota parents. The topics include maternity, childcare, education, things-to-do, etc. Pay is negotiated with the editor upon submission approval, and payment is made per article, not per word.

Is a blog that features personal essays and “perspective pieces” about all sides of parenting. According to an interview with their editor, they pay $50 per post, though payment is not listed on their website. To learn more, read their submission guidelines. We also invite parent and child development experts to share their knowledge with us and people who seek your help.

I included A Fine Parent in this list even though they stop submissions frequently. This site is still a great blog to guest post on if you’re a stay-at-home mom or working mom. If selected, we request 90-day exclusivity from the date it is published or posted.

We welcome all submissions but do not guarantee publication. Writers should expect to work with our editors and be open to the process of tailoring your piece to the specific goals of The Lois Project. Please allow 1-2 weeks to hear back as we are often working months ahead. Remember our readers are from different churches or no church at all, and we want to keep our articles accessible. Are you a mom, a grandmother, a teacher, a mentor – a radical woman who seeks to pass on your faith?

Watch this space as I will be posting the calendar for our new seminar, as well as news for the first of two conferences, which we hope to hold some time in the Spring or Fall of 2021. In the meantime, go and check out our website to find out more about what the project is about. Can be a thought about a scripture verse, a poem, a significant photo or an inspiring quote, OR a brief update on something encouraging happening among moms or mentors in your local community. The best way to have longevity with making money online is to diversify your income. Please note that after submitting your article to A Mountain Momma, you will not be able to use that article for publishing anywhere else.
